What to know

Getting there

Temples in Taizhou are a short taxi/metro ride from center; mountain temples need a bus + cableway.

Insider tips

  • Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered) and remove hats in main halls.
  • Morning incense hours (07:00–09:00) are atmospheric; photography is usually fine outdoors only.
